The Race for 2008: Almost Heaven

Filed under: Critical Voices | Democrats — by Bob Zuber @ 4:55 am

Despite calls for her to get out of the race, and as reported by the Charleston Gazette’s Tom Searls, Hillary and Bill are barnstorming across West Virginia hoping that her poll numbers in the state reflect the actual mood of voters: “A recent poll showed Clinton easily defeating her opponent, U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in the state. Polltakers were quick to point out, however, that they polled only those with traditional landline telephones. While all polled may be historic voters, it does not include those who use cell phones, particularly young people who have flocked to Obama’s banner.”
