Iran: A Cry
A friend of a friend writes:
Dear Friends,
This is not a mass Email to everyone. I went through all my friend and looked for the friends I know as very liberal and humanitarian .
As maybe you know, my country is burning in the fires of a mad dictator. Unarmed protesters are attacked by batons, sprays, knives, gas, rubber bullets, and sometime even automatic weapons. Communication systems are shutdown. I have no idea if my two YOUNGER BROTHERS living in a dorm are safe. There is no real coverage of what’s going on in Iran. What you see in the media is only the safe parts of it.
For three month, we had a peaceful campaign, spending many hours as volunteers and accepted all the unfair rules by Islamic republic. But at the end of the day, we were paid by a coup. They didn’t even count the votes. (Technically you can prove it, since the ratio of the votes of the candidates remained fixed up to five significant figures over the process.)
We are so helpless. No one is backing my unarmed peaceful friends. I am looking forward to the helping hands of my non Iranian friends. I am out of Iran and only can watch and cry for what happens. The only thing that I am pursuing is getting attraction from free media to call it a coup as it was. There are many free spirits like you who can help me.
PLEASE HELP TO SPREAD THE WORDS ABOUT THE MISERY OF MY NATION. You can help me by asking people whom you know to mention it in their facebooks, profile pictures, blogs, media and all communication means they have. Green is the color of our campaign.
I really appreciate all of your helps.
God bless you.
Ali.
