In case this might be of interest to others, I am working on a Huricane Katrina Fundraiser (sponsored by the MA Center, “Ammachi” “THe Hugging Saint”) Sunday, November 6th at the Mill Valley Community Center. Country Joe McDonald, The Freddie Hughes Band, Lakshmi Devi, Stepehen Gordon and Jeff Kent (from KPFA) will all be performing. In addition a block of tickets has been underwritten for evacuees re-located to Marin City to attend. I’ll attach the flyer. If our president won’t act, we have to!
