Project: No More Victims Most Recent
His mother and father are both working 3/4 time. Kawther works at a preschool for immigrant children and Ghazwan is at Starbucks. Neither job earns more than $10. per hr. However, Kawther has had time to upgrade
her credentials to make her eligible for better jobs when they come up.
Ghazwan’s job although not paying him enough money, allows him hours that allow him to take the boys, Mustafa and his brother Maadh to school, pick them up and still work evening and night hours. It isn’t easy, and doesn’t allow for an extra activity for Mustafa, which he needs to make his transition from a special needs school to a regular classroom. He will be ready for kindergarden next year.
We hope you will join us in continuing to support this family. We all feel a part of the ongoing success of Mustafa who 2 years ago could not hear or speak, and now can carry on a conversation, ask questions, and expresses himself wonderfully.
We have so many of you to thank for this, as you have contributed to him in one way or another all along the way.
Whatever you can give towards Mustafa’s tuition for Summer Camp would be great. And, if you can continue to contribute to their rent fund it helps them a lot. They have been paying most of it themselves, however, the rent fund helps them make ends meet….almost. They no longer receive food stamps or cash, so it is all up to them now.
Thank you for all your help,
